Kick the season off right at the Tonka Street Cup! A high-energy 5v5 tournament played on the Hopkins High School’s tennis courts. August 21-23, 2026, 200+ teams from U8 through Adult will battle for bragging rights, trophies, and nonstop fun, all for just $150 per team.

Why You’ll Love It

Fast-paced games, festival atmosphere: Eight fenced-in courts keep the action moving all day, while a live DJ and food trucks create a true block-party feel. First whistles start at 9:00 a.m., and each division plays through its full event in a single 3–5 hour window.
5v5 with goalkeepers. New in 2026, every division will play 5v5 with keepers, a shift from last year’s 4v4 no-goalkeeper format. The change brings a more dynamic style of play while keeping the speed, creativity, and street-soccer feel that makes the event unique.
Three-game guarantee: Every team, with rosters of up to 8 players, is guaranteed at least three matches, giving every player plenty of time on the court.
Built for every age and level: Divisions range from 2020 birth-year teams through Adult COED Open, with A and B brackets offered where numbers allow.
A perfect Fall Season kickoff: For just $150 per team, families get a full day of street-soccer energy, live music, and community fun, while each team is only on-site for 3–5 hours.
Championship Finals: New in 2026, every division will feature a championship final, with winners receiving medals.
Best Team Uniforms: Teams are encouraged to bring their own custom look and have fun with it all weekend. Uniforms will be judged throughout the event, with the winning team earning a team gift card to The Burrow.

What Is Street Soccer?

Street soccer is a fast, high-energy, small-sided version of the game played on blacktops, courts, and other open hard surfaces. Similar to futsal in many ways, it is designed to be fun, accessible, and creative. It brings people together, builds confidence, and develops life skills through the power of play. More than just a sport, street soccer is a platform for community, expression, and connection.
