ADAM VAN'T HOF COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP
La familia de Adam Van't Hof, a través de la Junta Directiva de la Asociación de Fútbol Tonka United, ha autorizado una o dos becas universitarias de $1,000 para cubrir gastos educativos. Este premio se ha creado en memoria de Adam Van't Hof, exjugador y árbitro de Tonka United. La beca se otorga a jugadores o árbitros de último año de secundaria que demuestren compromiso, excelencia y liderazgo en el programa de fútbol de Tonka United. Los candidatos pueden ser nominados por un jugador, entrenador, árbitro, otro adulto o autonominarse.
Deadline for receipt of nominations is May 31, 2025.
The award decision will be announced by June 14, 2025.
GUIDELINES & CRITERIA
- One to two annual $1,000.00 college scholarships funded by the Adam Van’t Hof Memorial Fund and Tonka United Soccer Association.
- The scholarships will be awarded to players, referees, and/or student coaches who are completing their senior year of high school.
- Los candidatos pueden ser autonominados, nominados por un jugador, entrenador u otro adulto.
- Nominations must be received by May 31, 2025 and award determination will be completed by June 14, 2025.
- A committee comprised of no less than three will evaluate nominations and make scholarship selections. Committee will be comprised of a member of the Van’t Hof family and two representatives of Tonka United Soccer Association.
- Criteria for award:
- Hardworking and diligent. High attendance at practices and games.
- Excels off the field in academics, community service, etc.
- Accepts direction and advice. Appreciate coaches, teammates and officials.
- Unselfish attitude. Recognized as a team player.
- Achieves in their role beyond expectations.
- ‘Gives back’ to the game of soccer.
- Financial need..
7. The scholarship check will be directed in joint to the recipient and college of choice.
