WHAT IS PRE-COMPETITIVE?

The Pre-Competitive Program is open to U7 players only each year. This program offers a structured environment focused on developing foundational skills, game tactics & teamwork, and serves as the first impression families have of "Competitive Soccer."

single location travel and competition
seasonal commitment

With guidance from our experienced full-time coaching staff, players will participate in weekly training sessions, 8-10 games, three TCSL FIVES weekends and one to two Club v Club game days.

Whether your player is new to soccer or ready to take their game to the next level, this program ensures they’ll be prepared and confident heading into Tonka United’s U8 tryouts in July.

Players will be evaluated the first week of the season based on ability. Teams will be formed based on skill level. Each gender group will have a maximum of 40 players, forming four teams of up to 10 players each. There will not be any friend requests.

PRE-COMPETITIVE PROGRAM FAQS

Pre-Competitive Program
Each week, players will have one designated evening for trainings. Teams will then play in 8-10 matches over the season. All trainings and matches are led by Tonka United Staff Coaches at Freeman Park. TCSL FIVES weekends will be hosted by Tonka United and other Clubs around the metro area.
Uniform: first season you enter Tonka United Pre-Comp the uniform jersey tops are included in player fees. Player are required to purchase their own adidas Royal Blue shorts and socks. This uniform will be used all of the 2025/26 season.
