Tonka United Newsletter, Volume1
Club Communications | January 8, 2021
Happy New Year and a great, big WELCOME TO 2021! We would naturally be highlighting the fresh start that seems to follow any winter break and arrive at the beginning of every new year, and 2021 seems even more worthy of celebration. While we collectively hit [RESET], the reality is that the path back to “normal” is uncharted. The pace may feel laggard at times, but we remain optimistic for a successful 2021. We are in this together!
Earlier this week we (re)started our winter training sessions. It’s good to be back! We are beyond joyous to see the players just beaming with excitement playing together again. Their energy is positive and plentiful.
We can not thank you all, the entire Tonka United community, enough for your adaptability and compliance with the newest safety guidelines, your flexibility with the changing schedules, your patience as we work diligently to continue providing optimal programming and an inspiring soccer experience.
Looking ahead to the next couple weeks, we have league games starting. We ask that you pay close attention to your email inbox and Team Snap communications as there are likely to be some rescheduled matches and/or trainings. Reminder: there are no spectators allowed in ANY of the facilities for ANY events at this time. Please reach out to your team manager if you have questions.
20+ days remain on the 60-Day Video Challenge with TUSA Soccer At Home Virtual Programming. You still have time to start and submit your videos!
