Please Read Before Registering Online

TUSA no longer offers mail-in registration. You can safely use your credit card or opt to mail-in a check. Please note that your child's registration is not complete until payment is received.

 

We have implemented a new online registration system as of November 2007. Thus, if you did not register your child for the 2008 Winter Academy or Summer 2008 Travel Program you will need to establish a new account. If you registered for either program, you may bypass the rest of these instructions and register using your username and password; otherwise, please carefully read the following:

  • The registration information is retained by player and not by household.
  • The first time you go to register for any of our programs, you must create a new account for each child.
  • Select the "New Player or Returning Player - Don't Have User Account" option.
  • Each player will need a unique user name; however, you may use the same password for all of your children.
  • Your children will now be in the system for all future registrations.
  • Please call the Tonka United office at 952-475-9178 if you have any questions or problems registering online.

When registering either online or in-person, you will be asked to accept the following:

U18-U19 Players

  • U18-U19 players are not required to purchase the new uniform kit.
  • However, the online registration system requires ALL players to select a uniform size.
  • Please select a uniform size in order to process your registration.
  • You will not be charged, nor will you receive a uniform.

Important Note: In order to secure your child's roster spot, you must complete the registration process.
Rosters are subject to change based on final registration numbers.

 

 

Registration Fees: 

  • Basic registration fees include: 10-week 75 minute winter training sessions at the Tonka Dome on Monday, Thursday or Friday evenings January 4-March 13.  See Team Training for complete schedule.
  • Note: U8 players only receive six 1-hour winter training sessions and U18-U19 players will be invoiced separately for any winter training sessions, as the costs are not included in their registration fees.
  • Additional indoor fees (if applicable), paid coach fees (if applicable) and tournaments are not included in the basic registration fees.
  • A two-payment option will be available at the time of registration.  Payment Plan balances are due by February 29.
  • All required fees MUST BE PAID before a player card will be issued for the summer season.
  • Payment of the registration fees REGISTERS the player with Tonka United.
  • Please provide a copy of your child's birth certificate if one is not already on file with Tonka United.
  • Registration closes December 16.
  • As of December 17, a $50 LATE FEE will be assessed to ALL registrations and players will only be placed on a team if space is available.  This policy does not apply to U18-U19 players; however, U18-U19 players must register by February 29 or a $50 LATE FEE will be assessed.

 Uniforms:

  • There is a new travel uniform for the Summer 2008 and 2009 seasons.
  • Uniform orders MUST be placed at the time of your child's registration.  ALL players except U18-U19 players must buy a complete uniform kit.
  • A uniform kit includes: a blue jersey, white jersey, blue shorts and a pair of blue and white socks.
  • All travel players are required to wear the same uniform.  No substitutions are allowed.

 Fundraiser Fee:

  • We are aware of the many fundraising events that families are asked to participate in over the course of a year.  This can be burdensome and time consuming for the kids and their families. Nonetheless, these events provide needed funds to organizations including Tonka United. 
  • Based upon our past experience and your valuable input, we have decided to forego fundraising events and instead we will be asking for a $75 fundraising fee per summer travel player.  In exchange, Tonka United pledges that we will not ask our teams to participate in fundraising events by selling food or other items. 
  • In addition, based upon the outstanding volunteerism of Tonka United families, the Board of Directors voted to eliminate the $50 volunteer fee.  Families and teams will still have a volunteer obligation for Tonka United including the Tonka Splash travel tournament.  And since Tonka United is run almost entirely by volunteers, we hope that families will still be willing to provide support when needed.
