Fall Travel Policy

When you register for the Fall Travel Program you agree to the following commitments:

  1. Registration forms will not be processed without full payment or having an arrangement in place for financial assistance.  To discuss financial assistance, call the TUSA office at 952 475-9178.
  2. The Tonka United Soccer Association travel league has a NO-REFUND POLICY, as outlined herein.  All refund requests must be submitted in writing to the TUSA office by the deadlines stated below.  Refunds will be given under the following circumstances only:
  • Written request postmarked by August 8 for the coming fall season - full refund, less $25 administrative fee and excluding uniform fees, will be given. (Late fees will not be refunded.)
  • After August 8, no refunds will be given except for medical reasons. For written medical requests, postmarked between August 8 and September 8 - 50% of the player fee, excluding uniform fees, will be given. (To request a refund under this provision, a medical doctor's letter must accompany the written request verifying the injury and that the injury prevents the player from participating.)

 

Summer Travel Policy

When you register for the Summer Travel Program you agree to the following commitments:

  1. Registration forms will not be processed without full payment or having an arrangement in place for financial assistance.  To discuss financial assistance, call the TUSA office at 952 475-9178.
  2. The Tonka United Soccer Association travel league has a NO-REFUND POLICY, as outlined herein.  All refund requests must be submitted in writing to the TUSA office by the deadlines stated below.  Refunds will be given under the following circumstances only:
  • A player cannot be placed on a team within Tonka United – 100% refund given.  (Please note that, for this purpose, over-rostered players ARE considered placed on a team.)
  • Written request postmarked before December 1 for the coming spring/summer season – full refund including uniform fees but less a $25 administrative fee, will be given.
  • Written request postmarked between December 1 and December 31 – full refund, including uniform fees but less a $50 administrative fee (as teams have been finalized and team training begins in January) and late fee if applicable, will be given.
  • After December 31, no refunds of uniform fees will be given, as orders for the coming year have been placed.
  • Written request postmarked between January 1 and February 28 – player fee refunded, less $125 and late fee if applicable, and excluding uniform fees.
  • After February 28, no refunds will be given except for medical reasons.  For written medical refund requests postmarked between March 1 and April 30 – player fee refund, less $125 and late fee if applicable, and excluding uniform fees, will be given.  For medical refund requests postmarked between May 1 and May 31 – 50% of the player fee, excluding uniform fees, will be given.  (To request a refund under this provision, a medical doctor’s letter must accompany the written request verifying the injury.)
