Adam Van't Hof Scholarship
The family of Adam Van't Hof, through the Tonka United Soccer Association Board of Directors, has authorized a $1,000 annual college scholarship to be used toward education expenses. This award has been established as a memorial to Adam Van't Hof, a long time Tonka United player and referee. As a soccer player, Adam had a will to succeed, understood his role and played his position well. He was the ultimate team player, so it's appropriate to have this award named in Adam's honor. This scholarship is given in recognition of a graduating male or female high school player who demonstrates commitment, excellence, and leadership in the Tonka United soccer program.
Candidates may be self-nominated or nominated by a player, coach, referee, or other adult. The deadline for receipt of nominations is August 6, 2008. The award decision will be announced by August 31 of each year.
