Fall League New this Year!

We are excited to announce Recreation Fall League! Leauge will consist of teams Kindergarten through 3rd grade. League will run Saturdays September 11th- October 16th. Games will be played at Minnetonka Middle School West or Deephaven PIT.

Times will be between 9:00 AM- 2:00 PM depending on numbers of teams.

Format will consist of a 30 minute clinic/warm-up followed by a 40 minute game. Teams from the summer are welcome to stay together.

We will also be offering Pre-K Fall Starz Clinics as in the past. Pre-K will not form teams. They will play from 9:00AM- 10:15AM. They will learn soccer skills through fun games and activities.

Volunteers

We are always in need of volunteers to fulfill the following positions: coaches, assistant coaches, team managers, age group coordinators, assistance with the Tonka Blast as well as special projects.  

• Coaches - will receive training from our Rec Director prior to the season
• Team Managers - will be responsible for assisting coaches with a phone tree and treat schedule
• Age Group Coordinators - will be responsible for assisting with team formation

*New: An Introduction to Travel Soccer

2nd & 3rd Grade Players

For U8 & U9 Boys & Girls teams forming for Fall 2011. Friday June 25th

Players and parents can experience travel soccer in our six week fall season.

Parents & players are invited to attend & meet our Director of Coaching and Coaching Staff. Players will be placed into small sided games after a typical travel soccer warm up, whilst parents receive an introduction to travel soccer in a relaxed and informal environment. Parents will have an opportunity to listen and ask questions during the session. This is not a tryout as such as we look to place ALL players on a travel team for the Fall season (if numbers permit).

Our aim is to have as many players as possible experience the transition from recreation to travel soccer in a fun and safe environment.

No registration required, just show up at the scheduled time with your child ready to play. We look forward to seeing you on the pitch!
