Make sure you have your calendars marked for Saturday, July 11, 2009 as our season concludes with a fun-filled soccer jamboree.
This event will include:
- Face painting, tattoos and wacky hair
- Bouncy castle
- Participation awards
- Concessions by Culvers
- Tonka Wear Clearance
- And much more...
Teams will play two (2) games and will follow the regular season rec rules. No scores will be kept and there will be no playoffs. Each player will receive a participation award.
Blast T-Shirts
- $10 for a Blast Shirt. Limited sizes and quantities available.
Volunteers
Volunteers are essential to the success of the Tonka Blast! We need the help of all of our TUSA teams. Each team is required to provide at least two volunteers at the Blast. On behalf of the Tonka Blast and Tonka United Board of Directors, we thank you for your continued support and volunteerism.
To volunteer email admin@tonkaunited.org no later than Tuesday, July 7 with your name, child's team number (ie. KB01), email address, cell phone. Shifts will be 1-2 hours.
Coaches
Please read the following information:
- A coach and/or designee must check-in at least 20-30 minutes prior to your first scheduled game to pick up your team's partcipation awards.
- Each team will be provided with a garbage bag at the time of check-in to help keep our sidelines clean.
- ALL games must start and end on time.
Parking
Please refrain from parking on the grass and in fire lanes as cars may be ticketed and towed. Families are encouraged to carpool. Additional parking is available on the south side of MMW.
Weather/Field Conditions
If weather conditions or the state of the fields make it impossible to carry out the Blast to its full extent, it is up to the organizers to make necessary decisions concerning the rearrangement or cancellation of all games.
